The Beaches of Nosara
Nosara is located on the Pacific Coast of the Nicoya Peninsula in Guanacaste Province, Costa Rica.
You can get to Nosara by plane, rental car, private taxi or bus. If you intend to rent a car, you will need detailed driving directions.
Surfing in Nosara
Surfing is very popular in Nosara. Beginners will find plenty of waves that are just right for taking lessons and improving balance. More experienced surfers will enjoy the variety and space. Uncrowded, the Beaches of Nosara offers just the right mix of fellow surfing enthusiasts and plenty of room to practice.

The atmosphere is casual, welcoming and homey. The main house, Casa de los Monos (house of the monkeys) is a perfect spot for viewing howler monkeys swinging from the neighboring trees. The property is a sanctuary, perfect for bird watching and experiencing the surrounding wild life.

(Casa de Los Monos)
The bed and breakfast main house sits secluded at the end of a driveway on 2 acres. It is extremely quiet, peaceful, and is surrounded by tropical forest.
The first floor of Casa de los Monos houses the office and the cheerful yellow kitchen and indoor dining area with a long hardwood table and chairs. The terrace outside is shaded by flowers and palms and hosts the outdoor dining on rustic oval wooden tables. Two colorful hammocks hang at the edge of the garden.
The two rooms with shared bath and hot water on the second story of Casa de los Monos are ideal for a family or friends.
Lounging in a hammock or the comfortable outdoor couch on the spacious second floor balcony, you look out over the ocean through the trees.
If you don't have the energy to walk to the beach for sunset, you can relax here and watch the sky light up with translucent hues of red, orange, and purple.
There is also a bedroom with king bed and shared bathroom on the first floor.
Each room has a ceiling fan. The ceiling is insulated and tall trees offer shade, so the house is always cool and pleasant.
There's another shower located outside on the ground level for washing off sand after a swim at the beach.

(Casa de Los Arboles)
Eighteen stairs down from the main house, hidden in the trees, you arrive first at the second story balcony of the tropical pink colored tree house.
Nestled in comfortable ratan furniture you look out on lush flowers and vines.
A kitchen equipped with refrigerater, 2 gas burners, coffee maker, hot water heater, blender, and utensils, is 
shared by that floor's two bedrooms, each with private bathrooms and hot water. Colorful ceramic night lights ornament the balconies and each bedroom.
The first story of the tree house is another ten steps down from the second story and also has a similarly equipped shared balcony and kitchen for the two bedrooms with private bathrooms and hot water.
Follow the jungle path for a five minute walk to the beach. An outdoor shower on the side of the treehouse allows you to rinse off the salt water on your way back.

(Sol y Luna Casita)
Twenty steps down from the driveway, protected by bushes and trees is the private two room 
Sol y Luna Casita, Sun and Moon Cottage.
A curtain divides the bedroom, with a double bed, bed tables and reading lamps, from the kitchen/living/ 
dining area where you can rest or read on a graciously upholstered sofa and chair set. The kitchen is equipped with refrigerater, gas stove and oven, coffee maker, hot water heater, blender, and utensils. Look out at flowers and lush gardens.
